Default How do I take the T-Handle off ?

Hey,

I just got an AC Schnitzer T-Handle for my automatic ... it didn't come with any instructions, so I'm stuck trying to figure how to get this thing off ... This comes with a screw and allen wrench, but the handle in the car doesn't have any screw ... do I have to pull it off ? I thought this would be an easy mod but I'm beginning to wonder.

I assume you have the stock T-handle on your car. There should be an allen screw in the front of the handle. I think it's a 6mm, but I may be wrong. It's metric for sure. Undo this screw, and the handle should come off. Be careful of the rod inside. It attaches to the t-handle button via a small rod going thru a hole the rod. The rod has a magnet at the other end.

I got it off but this Schnitzer T-Handle is just not good .... doesn't look as nice as I thought it would, and there's a 2 cm gap between the handle and the lever. Pretty disappointed, I'm going to have to try and sell this to someone else ... maybe it's not made for ti's ...
