The tranny swap kit ran me about 1500.00 stock in parts , with another 350 in aftermarket upgrades (short shift kit, UUC tranny mounts, etc.). I bought my kit from Bavarian Auto Recyclers in Sacramento (contact Steve Hamilton)You need the following:

The swap took 2 days to complete. I live in LA and i found a shop to do the work for 700.00 (great price). The driveshaft and shifter assembly are the hardest components to get correct, at least that is my experience. I love the car with the manual it takes it to a new level
