Started gathering the parts for the next level of upgrades...

Z3 steering rack
Vanos rebuild kit
S50 cams
3.5 euro HFM

Careful swapping those cams, James.

They have a tendency to snap if they are not installed properly...

I am going to do 24lb injectors, not too worried about which brands. As for software, I am going to do that after getting everything in place. Since my car is OBD1, I am running the Red 413 DME, which requires chips. The stock DME should have no problem with the cams and injectors.

I spoke to Turner about doing the 3.5 maf and 24lbs injectors on a 2.5. They told me the 3.5 maf was not something the 2.5 could really use and they had no chip for it, even with S50 cams.

I'm curious about this because I have all the bits lying around to do this mod to the M50 Club Sport we have here.

Well, this will all be trial and error... I have no problem experimenting, but I don't have easy access to a dyno to fully chart the changes and progresses... this will all be "butt dyno" results, therefore subjective...

What size tires on those style 5's? And did you get those rims new from the recent clearance?

they're 215/35/18, picked em up from the ecs clearance, the 17s were sold out but the 18s were at a price too good to resist

Lucky dog... well done. The rims look staggered, or at least from the pics, there seems to be more stretch/poke on the rears vs. the fronts.

yeah, 18x8 in front an 18x9 in the rear, i kinda would've preferred having a square setup so I can swap fronts and rears but i'll make due
