On another note, I pulled out my old track tires, took them to the local petrol station and put some air into them. They haven't been used so long they only had 6 PSI in them. Does anyone know if tires have expiry date? These track tires have about 70-80% tread left on them and they're about 8 years old. The rubber is still soft. | | | 08-11-2010, 02:16 PM | #525 | Moderator Join Date: Jun 2003 Location: Bouncing off the rev limiter in CT! Posts: 3,156 | Tires DO expire. Not sure of their life; however that has a lot to do with storage methods as well as simple age. Others may have more information on this (or contact TireRack.com) | | | | | Currently Active Users Viewing This Thread: 2 (0 members and 2 guests) | | Posting Rules | You may not post new threads You may not post replies You may not post attachments You may not edit your posts HTML code is Off | | | |
