Old Platinum plugs: 22.8 MPG
New copper plugs: 25.0 MPG Not bad!

parked it on the lawn because we're getting our whole driveway torn out and repaved, the ti's too low to clear the slope going from the lawn to the road so I'll be driving the track rat around town and scaring old ladies

Loaned it to my sister (Yikes!!!!)... She promised(!) to take good care of it. Her POS Volvo 850glt won't pass smog, so it's in the shop for a few days.

She had the car not 10 minutes and I get a text "wow, your car doesn't like speed bumps"

Grrrr....

Hope she doesn't do any damage to it.

Nice one. Make sure the heat it up first before rolling it. You don't want them to crack the paint.

On another note, I pulled out my old track tires, took them to the local petrol station and put some air into them. They haven't been used so long they only had 6 PSI in them.

Does anyone know if tires have expiry date? These track tires have about 70-80% tread left on them and they're about 8 years old. The rubber is still soft.

Tires DO expire. Not sure of their life; however that has a lot to do with storage methods as well as simple age.

Others may have more information on this (or contact TireRack.com)
