I always thought Saab had interesting designs and they loved turbos. Saturn, IMO, was just starting to come back. They brought the Astra over from europe and had some cool new models. It's too bad no one bought any of them. It kills me that Buick is still around in the US, the only thing it has going for it is that Buick is a huge seller in China. I'm most worried about the Viper, lol, I hope a company steps up and buys the Viper brand so that it can live on. __________________ ~Dave~ 98 328ti Morea Grun slicktop 11 128i space gray slicktop 13 JGC WK2 Deep Cherry Search | RealOEM | | | 02-18-2009, 01:37 PM | #3 | Senior Member Join Date: May 2007 Location: Damascus, Maryland Posts: 434 | Saabs?! Saab and Saturn are worth someone picking up as a brand. I would've rather seen Pontiac and Buick go away. And the HHR is actually a pretty nice car, ever driven one? That is the ONLY color combo I like on it though. __________________ My Former Rides 1999 318ti Alpine White, Cali Roof, Dinan goodies 1996 318ti Hellrot California Edition | | | 02-18-2009, 04:47 PM | #8 | Senior Member Join Date: Jun 2003 Location: Greenville, SC Posts: 9,356 | Has nothing to do with the stimulus plan. These companies have been bleeding money for sometime now. __________________ ...steven BMW CCA #146825 1996 BMW 328ti • 2003 MINI Cooper S • 2016 M235i www.bmwcca.org | | | 02-18-2009, 04:55 PM | #9 | Senior Member Join Date: Jun 2003 Location: Saint Paul, MN Posts: 3,244 | Quote: Originally Posted by acevedo12 now Pt cruiser will be no longer made along with all Hummers, saabs, and saturns! thats all iv'e heard about cars so far but just knowing that these crappy cars are gone forever is nice. | Get yer facts straight man. Just because Saab may be sold off does not mean they are gone. GM is considering many options.
