Saabs are a very nice car IMO, and are great cars in my experiences with them. I'd be sad if the company goes down, but I think someone will pick it up and keep Saab alive (I didn't read that link )

I did like the Saturn Sky, but that's about it. They were cheap cars, and that's now taken up by Hundai and whoever else, they had no place anymore.

And I hated the new hummers. H1 or nothing. Though the pickup H3 did look nice, I never saw the completed version, only the concept.

True. When I used the emoticon it was to say the design is tired, not bad. I applaud anything different (see the other thread on the QUBE).

Just saying nothings final. If Jaguar can be owned by Indians, Saab can find a buyer too. Saturn and Hummer had no history, little innovation beyond marketing. Saab has been making cars since 1947 and I for one hope they stick around.

Im surprised to hear that Saturn may go away. They were cheap, plastic, and seem to be everywhere around here. Cheap, plastic and efficient, yet still relatively stylish is what the current marked needs, or so i would think..
