Default Rear Tail Trim Panel???

I have searched and searched and searched to no avail. When you're looking at the back of your ti, you see the piece below the hatch and taillights yet above the bumper? What is that called??? Can it be replaced? Thanks!

it can be replaced but you have to cut it out and weld a new piece in, did you get rear-ended?

No, but the previous owner apparently did. instead of replacing it they just bondoed the **** out of it, now it is cracking. I'm assuming you cut it out under the taillight on the side where that little seam with no gap is? It probably won't get done for awhile since it needs welded but I figured I'd try to find out. Thanks!

I think the taillights are part of that piece, looks like it's #5 in this diagram:

I wondered about that but i was skeptical since I can't see it from the back to confirm that it is the right thing.
