camber kits

anyone put on a camber kit after lowering their car? if so, what kit? are you happy with it? what other kits did you consider and why did you go with the one you did?

I know there are some on http://www.bmwbushings.com they seem to be the same as everywhere else, but cheaper. I would also like to know more about camber kits.

Someone had one of those camber kits on Ebay. I bid $105.00 for it, but it went for $127.00

which camber kits, the one from bmwbushings? compare the front camber kit to the one from bavauto and i think you'll see where the extra money goes. hard to believe we don't have anyone who has lowered their ti that has used a camber kit :S

i just put new tires on this past summer and didn't have them on too long before winter. i'd like to avoid excessive wear on them so i'm looking at camber kits. probably have that done at the same time i have my rear trailing arm sway bar mount tabs strenghtened so i'm all set for bigger sway bars. i'll let my usual shop do that stuff since i don't have the facilities to do alignments or any welding

Yes, the bmwbushings camber kit. The website lists it for $157.00.

I'm concerned with camber issues as welll. I will be putting on 17"s with 235/45 tires in the spring. I probably should put camber plates in at that point. Or maybe lowering it will be when the camber plates are necessary. That is what I'm not sure of.

I've got M-tech sways to install, they came with polyurethane bushings(after market), so I'm all set.

Bav Auto sells the camber kit for I think $249.00, that ain't cheap

pettitwc, you can get camber kits for both front and rear.

L84, you shouldn't need the kits until you lower it as that is what throws off the camber to begin with. man, you gettin' a special deal or something? i see the fronts for $315 and the rears for $270!

bmw bushings says 159 but it doesn't say if it's front or rear...anybody know?

bmwbushings has both front (camber plates, $140) and rear (rear camber and toe adjusters, $160).

Hey cali-ti try this site, BMP designs, http://www.bmpdesign.com/product-exe...category_id/57 looks like they sell both front and rear as a kit for about $260.00 I been thinking about it for my 95 I would call frist it seams like a low price for both hopes this helps.

that's a very confusing item. as you said, what they SHOW seems to be a complete front and rear set. however, the item description only mentions the REAR. i'll see if i can send them email and get a definitive response. if it's just the rear, it's around the same price as bavauto. if it's the full kit, that would be nice

UPDATE: i changed to a 1996 328is (from 318ti) and then the front camber kit suddenly appeared in the list (even though it should be the SAME for both). the front kit is $325, basically the same as bavauto. WHY they don't list that kit for the 318ti, i have no idea.

Ya that would be sweet deal. I see in your later mods list sport mirrors I have the ones from Bavarian autosport real nice heated and have a convex ends on them to get better veiw of things kinda like half and half, normal mirror then convex tips.I try to see if i can find part #.

I noticed that too, in fact, when I was bidding on Ebay, I thought I was bidding on a complete front and rear set.
