Default I know nothing about exhausts

And I am looking for a nice aftermarket one for my ti.
Here's the problem: I'm 17. I don't have too much cash on me right now, and while I'd like to get one that actually helps the car perform better, that type of thing is just out of my budget right now. Because of that, I am only looking at mufflers, catbacks whatever they're called (sorry, I'm REALLY not too knowledgable about exahusts) that just enhance the noise. I need the cheapest kind available, but I do not want a ricer one (its not a honda, its BMW ).
I'd like a sort of lower sound and loud but not TOO loud. I don't wanna wake up the neighbors or anything. I want the noise to sound like its comin from my car not an 18 wheeler.
Thanks a lot!
Any specific just muffler models would be nice - I would really appreciate video clips too!

+1, Magnaflow is a good choice, it's what I'm going to do for my car once it comes out of storage

I hear ya and I like that exhaust but I don't think I want one with such a high pitch in my car. I want something about that loudness but a little lower. That sounds just a little bit too ricey for me.

I get what you're saying, the problem is, these cars have 4 cylinders much like many ricers, it's very difficult to find an exhaust that sound deeper on a budget

Wanna make it louder without spending a penny? Just poke some holes in the cat. Keep adding holes until you reach a desired tone

sorry but if you think that's ricey then ill ask you to find a decently loud I4 that's not ricey. I advise you not to throw that word around because i really worked hard to find a non-ricey setup on a budget and if you really think that was ricey then ill ask you to look up some videos of exhausts on civics and then come back to me. i dont think u quite understand what it actually means. the metallic rasp u heard on the video was because it was a little cold and although the engine has warmed up the pipe wasn't exactly hot yet. the rest just sounded about as nice as it can for a 4banger. if u still don't change your mind then I suggest u get yourself some more cylinders.
