I found something you might be interested in, a circuit board you place between the DME and OBC to correct for using larger injectors. You might contact the maker and ask him if it would compensate the S52 DME's ti signal to feed an OBC coded for an M42/M44.

Does the obc connect to any module unit behind the glove box? Reason I'm asking is because if it is then I can snag one so I don't have to program at the dealer.

If I understand your question and accurately recollect some past research, the OBC connects to two modules: the DME and the instrument cluster. However, I may not understand what you are asking when I read: "if it [something] is [something]...."

Well we all know that if you remove the glove box you'll find control modules behind it. There are about 5 module units. Its where the alarm module is at. When programming the car for the obc do one of the modules get the software/program? Or is it really just in the OBC? If that is the case then if getting a used OBC it would theoretically would already be programmed then?

When you code the OBC, you code the OBC. A used OBC will have been coded for the car it was in.

As I wrote earlier, if your car differs, some of the OBC's calculations, particularly the fuel related functions, may be off – but you may be able to fix that with the aforementioned fuel injection signal module between the DME and OBC.
