I like this, Has never even been driven in the hot sun. Fort Lauderdale? The owner needs to live in an area where it will pass emissions. That motor appears to be OBD-I, emissions will be looking for OBD-II. That diff is way too tall. My 3.46 slams me in my seat. Edit: But that is not to say I wouldn't want it. __________________ ...steven BMW CCA #146825 1996 BMW 328ti 2003 MINI Cooper S 2016 M235i www.bmwcca.org | | | 04-08-2006, 04:28 AM | #4 | Member Join Date: Feb 2006 Location: Wheaton, IL Posts: 81 | I don't like the rims or the black out kit with the Black but it looks pretty mean. | | | 04-08-2006, 05:50 AM | #5 | Senior Member Join Date: Feb 2005 Location: Tampa, FL Posts: 677 | lol ok guys who wants me to drive over there to see if its as good as it sounds __________________ my new world | | | 04-08-2006, 06:04 AM | #6 | Senior Member Join Date: Jun 2005 Location: Bend, OR Posts: 413 | Quote: Originally Posted by Flava Flav | Me want! | | | 04-08-2006, 06:26 AM | #7 | Senior Member Join Date: Feb 2004 Location: Port St. Johns, Florida Posts: 2,242 | don't like the location of the boost gauge. over all nice, good price. | | | 04-08-2006, 01:55 PM | #8 | Senior Member Join Date: Sep 2004 Location: Manassas, VA Posts: 4,129 | I don't think those are Florida plates. Posts: 3,156 | The cluster has obviously been changed, so the true mileage is unknown. The cluster and ECU both 'remember' the mileage, and the higher mileage usually prevails when either is changed. Depending on what kind of tuning was done on that ECU it's anybody's guess... I don't trust the mileage; which is not to say the car is not still a good deal, but at 15K without meeting reserve, I'd want a VERY good look at it... The OBD-I into OBD-II car swaps are starting to bite people in the a$$ now... Unless your state does not check emissions, you will never sell an improperly swapped car outside of your 'no emissions testing' state, unless to race only... Go for it , Steve!!! You need this car! | | | 04-11-2006, 11:12 PM | #15 | Junior Member Join Date: Jul 2005 Location: palm harbor Posts: 6 | how does swapping a different engine make the car rare? can someone please answer that? i did it to my car, i dont have a car you see everyday, and swapping the engine sure didnt make it go up in value...... | | | | | Currently Active Users Viewing This Thread: 1 (0 members and 1 guests) | | Thread Tools | | Display Modes | Linear Mode | Posting Rules | You may not post new threads You may not post replies You may not post attachments You may not edit your posts HTML code is Off | | | |
