Default E46 318Ti

Hello!! I'm a spanish bimmer fan, first of all congratulations for such a great work!! I'm trying to do an engine swap for the Euro Spec (343cv) M3 engine into an E46 Compact maybe you don't know anything about my car because is only for the European Market and It hasn't been imported to the States... Here to modify a car is very expensive (Much more than in USA) So any help will be recived nicely!! Forget my mistakes please!!

You might search around bfc and check if anyone has done a E46 to m3 conversion. I believe that would be your best bet.

hartge has done the 5.0 V8(e39 M5 engine) conversion to the e46 Compact...So the M54 engine should be able to be done.

I am sure a german somewhere in Bavaria has done this.

Yes I know hartge has done both conversions, but the price is prohibitive more than 70000 Us Dollars (60000 euros) fot the M3 engine and 80000 euro for M5 engine... thats too much for me...
Dredder what's bfc???
