Hello, how are you? I was wondering if with a donor 323ti, I could achieve the battery relocation to the trunk with OEM spec. With the donor car, I know I have all the wiring and battery holders necessary. But my main question is with the trunk floor. Anyone know of the trunk floor that is part of the chassi is different from a 318ti to a 323ti? If it is, can it be easily swapped, or would I have to cut the trunk floor on the 323 and then weld it on the 318? Any input is greatly appreciated. Thank you. Best regards. Used the cord, and power terminal box. Put the battery in the spare tire area. You will have to fab a securing strap if you want. Between the power cord and my ground strap, it doesn't move, but an accident is another story. | | | 12-26-2016, 01:25 AM | #3 | Senior Member Join Date: Dec 2005 Location: Portland Oregon Posts: 1,363 | Quote: Originally Posted by Gdourado Hello, how are you? I also fitted an amp for the subwoofer. I might place a motorcycle battery in one of the side cubbies for emergencies. Why, because I take this ti out into the wilderness and up to the mountain. 99 dakar M3 vert & 97 M-tech ti | | | 12-27-2016, 03:05 AM | #4 | Junior Member Join Date: Oct 2016 Location: palm harbor Posts: 27 | I never have any luck with junkyards | | | 12-27-2016, 05:33 AM | #5 | Senior Member Join Date: Feb 2007 Location: Fl Posts: 1,353 | Why do you want to relocate the battery? __________________ SUPPORT 318ti.org!
