Arrow Aftermarket Radio Reinstall?!?!?

Okay I got a question about my aftermarket radio. I bought this car last week and it already had a Sony aftermarket radio installed in it. However, whoever installed it installed the speaker wires backwards and incorrect.

What I want to know is how is the easiest way to uninstall the aftermarket radio? Ive installed radios before but never have taken out aftermarket ones. I just need to be able to get it out of the dash so I can reinstall the wires.

Please HELP this is driving me nuts!! Thanks

Mark

I suggest having someone else do it, the wiring in BMWs is very sensitive, and it is not uncommon for people to have a no-start problem when they do it themselves

sony radios "normally" use a U-prong on each side to unclip the radio from the din chassis.

get a wire hanger, and clip the straight part off the bottom

cut that length into 2 equal halves

bend the 2 into U shapes

Push the 2 U-prongs into the holes on the sides of the face unit
