To provide a virtual gathering place for owners and admirers of the e36 compact (318ti). By providing a common space, owners and members can share information regarding the 318ti with other owners, allowing each other to learn more about their cars and use the forum to help each other solve problems/issues/concerns. Since the 318ti is more unique than other e36 models, the desire to share and learn from other owners grows with each new member as they discover what makes the 318ti special and unique. Also, other BMW related forums and BBS's were not focused toward the compact, and members of those outlets are sometimes hostile towards 318ti owners. Hence, a safe place. The secondary (and maybe most important) element to this site is the repository of knowledge that members have contributed. Numerous DIY's and tutorials have been posted by members past and current, creating a special library dedicated to the repair, maintenance, and upgrading of the 318ti for all to use, now and in the future. Ok, it doesn't follow the current "corporate" guidelines for a mission statement, but it's close enough... __________________ James 95 active w/leather interior and sport interior conversion, Vaders, full M-Tech exterior conversion.
