WTF? Everyone knows it's the REAR half of the ti that's the best! Does this guy buy bananas and eat the peel, too?

After skimming through the post (not carefully reading), it sounds like he wants to use the ti rear.

"Thanks, I am thinking of getting a 318ti with front end damage, and a 4 door 325i with rear end damage and cutting both in half and having them prfessionally welded together and eventually painted. The 'ti rear end and the 325i front end."

lol, that has to be the most dangerous thing someone's ever considered to do an engine and dash swap, I remember they had an Escort on Pimp My Ride that was the front of one Escort welded to the back of another and they just bought him a new car because it was so unsafe

Overall, the suspension, dash, engine, and OBC/AC wiring would take a much longer amount of time to do than to just cut/weld the two cars together
lmao he has no idea what hes talking about

You'd be surprised how many cars on the road have had exactly this done to them.

Heck I used to race a Mazda Rx3 that had been cut in half after being rear ended by a BMW at about 120. They did it in 1 night and had the car back on the race track the next day. They did it to save the log book, which is tied to the Vin number... Which is on the front clip..

I'd guess you'd cut at the front door jam and windshield A-pillers, Shortest welds and a consistent spot to measure to. would be a cool one of a kind...
