Is it overhearing after it runs for just like 5-10 minutes..?

If so, I had the same problem. Turned out to be something with the AC system (heat to be exact). Some valve door thing was stuck in a certain position or some ****. Worst part was, it was right after I got the AC worked on, so obviously they did it, and they didn't cover the cost of the fix. Cost me another $300 on top of the first repair. Bastards...

If you wanted to be REAL careful, I'd just have it towed to an AC place (preferrably a place that works on Euros often) and let them take care of it.

Me, well I can't afford that. I just drove it, watching the engine temp. Once it hit red, I'd pull over, let it cool down, start her back up, and do it some more. Did that all the way to the shop.

Look's like we are going to have to have ourselves a nice little FL meet over at the Race Rock sometime!

Actually I am.. name is Slynke on there too.

Yea, I went into the "Other" forums, hoping to make a post, and saw that there was only like 1 topic, so I just left. I really don't post there all that much anymore since I got the BMW.

After the engine warms up, turn the heat and fans all the way up. You should be able to make it to the shop alright.

Didn't work for me. On a normal basis it does, but not in my case. Trust me, I definatly tried it. It's supposed to blow the hot air off of the engine, into the cargo area, but it wasn't anywhere near enough to stop it from overheating.
