Please make sure you typed the web address correctly. If you have done so, the group may no longer exist. If I don't hear back from Shawn, the listowner, I might set up a list on 318ti.net before I go away on vacation. __________________ ...steven BMW CCA #146825 1996 BMW 328ti • 2003 MINI Cooper S • 2016 M235i www.bmwcca.org | | | 07-24-2006, 12:08 AM | #7 | Senior Member Join Date: Jul 2003 Location: Northern IL Posts: 263 | Quote: Originally Posted by 96cali Had not been there in a few weeks, now it says there is no such group. I have to say that I am not really a fan with the "forum" formula. The "list" one I much better deal with ! Of course you get EVERYthing, but at least you don't miss any ... ;o)) Well that does not tell us what happened with the Yahoo group. Do you remember who was (were) the moderator(s) ? Any clash from last wednesday ? Any trouble with the Yahoo server ? I can see the other Yahoo groups I belong with. This is somewhat mysterious ... Hey folks, it is Maverick from the old group, aka David Ellsworth. I am hoping they get this sorted because I am getting withdrawl pains. Well, I guess it won't matter as long as all the good people of the group can get together somewhere in the ether and compare notes. Might be a good time to ask something I have wondered: what are some of the other groups that are good to checkout??? First, the demographic is older and many have been on the list for several years. Plus many of us bought our cars new. There are many posts here that would not be tolerated there. I went through every yahoo message I had back through 2004 and pulled email addresses. I only ound a few hundred. I sent each one an invite to join the list I set up at 318ti.net. If the yahoo list comes back, I'll close it. But for now, there is a mailing list. __________________ ...steven BMW CCA #146825 1996 BMW 328ti • 2003 MINI Cooper S • 2016 M235i www.bmwcca.org | | | | Currently Active Users Viewing This Thread: 1 (0 members and 1 guests) | | Posting Rules | You may not post new threads You may not post replies You may not post attachments You may not edit your posts HTML code is Off | | | |
