Default Torx screw doesn't fit in door panel

I have a 1995 318ti. I had to replace my window regulator and when I went to put the door panel back on the torx screw in the lower door handle doesn't fit. It's too small. Not sure how that happened, and the hole in the metal is now wider than the one on the panel. Any suggestions? Am I missing anything from the old regulator?

There are 2 torx screws. One under the mirror control and one under the pull handle. They are different lengths. Make sure the longer of the two goes under the pull handle.

Thanks, I did have the longer one under the mirror. For some reason though the screw still didn't work. The hole is wider than the screw. I got it work using a plastic anchor. I don't know if it will ever come out, but it works now!
