Post here if you life in the Midwest (IL, IN, MI, MN, OH, WI), I'd like to see how many of us there are, and where. We seem like a rare breed out here- I was completely amazed when I saw two tis in one weekend a few weeks back. maybe the owners are on here. One looked to be Alaska Blue, I have no idea what model, and the other was an obviously non-bmw orange/burnt umber with an active exterior. Anybody claim them? I haven't seen them since. If there are enough of us out here in the flats, maybe we can pull a meet together sometime. Me: I live in the East suburbs of Saint Paul, MN. | | | 01-29-2008, 01:02 AM | #2 | Junior Member Join Date: Jan 2008 Location: Chicago Posts: 15 | chicago Il here | | | 01-29-2008, 12:30 PM | #3 | Senior Member Join Date: Jul 2007 Location: Toledo, OHIO Posts: 332 | OHIO! __________________ 99 black ti sport | | | 01-29-2008, 03:49 PM | #4 | Junior Member Join Date: Oct 2006 Location: Los Angeles Posts: 28 | Iowa Well I don't live in the states mentioned. I doubt it's going to be warm enough for any functional meet for a while though, so late spring/early summer sounds good to me too. | | | 01-31-2008, 03:24 PM | #10 | Senior Member Join Date: Jun 2003 Location: Saint Paul, MN Posts: 3,244 | Cincinnati here. I'd have to drive upwards of six hours, which is a little sketchy, but the rest of you look like you could do it in five or less. Cincinatti is second farthest at about 4 hours and 45 minutes from Chicago. I'll have to see how the drive factor plays out. | | | 01-31-2008, 06:53 PM | #13 | Member Join Date: Jan 2008 Location: Kansas City Posts: 47 | Kansas City, Great BBQ!! | | | 02-01-2008, 06:58 PM | #14 | Senior Member Join Date: Jan 2006 Location: Cincinnati Posts: 890 | Indy sounds good to me, although I haven't been to Chicago in years. I know it should be less (cuz I did Cincy-Chicago in college in 5 hrs) but every time I drive it's crazy now. You either have to drive like an idiot 10 feet off someones bumper at 80mph or park in the slow lane with RV's and cattle trucks. I hate it, but would go for a Ti meet n greet. __________________ My Former Rides 1999 318ti Alpine White, Cali Roof, Dinan goodies 1996 318ti Hellrot California Edition | | | | | Currently Active Users Viewing This Thread: 1 (0 members and 1 guests) | | Posting Rules | You may not post new threads You may not post replies You may not post attachments You may not edit your posts HTML code is Off | | | |
