Nope, pretty staright forward. Most likely, it will want to touch the right side of the rear valance. You just have to rig it up to stay to the center. I used zip ties betwwen the frame and the hanger. Don't use the zip tie on the metal hanger, as it will get hot and melt the zip tie.

Oh, and just tell Ralph from Olyonline to put the check in the mail.

Yup, I am pretty sure I have made up my mind, I to will be the new owner of a Brospeed exhaust after I recieve the next pay check. It's funny, I keep promising my girlfriend that I won't spend my pay check on my car, and that we will go out. Yeah, it will happen eventually. . . Oh well, I would also like to let everyone know that I have made up my mind, and I will soon have a turbo powered 318ti. I have the luck of working at a Speed shop for american cars, but my boss said he would be more than happy to help me fabricate the parts, and Bavarian autosport said they can re do my computer chip. So, I will let you know whats going on if anyone is interested. Expect construction of the parts to start about January 2002, ok, not that soon, but soon enough.

Well its a done deal. I put the Brospeed on yesterday. Everything was a lot easier to install than I thought it would be. I am pretty happy overall. sounds good, looks good, and cheep.

Tried to find the exhaust and they do not carry it for the 1999 318ti. Does anyone know where to get it now?

Thanks

well what i dont get is the fact that even these after market exhaust have the pinched pipe that rides under the subframe. my dinan goes from like 3 inch to 2 inch at that pinch then back but how is that performance.

bmwhartgeM3, that is my only concern with my current exhaust! That pinch has to have an effect! What good is a louder high-flow cat-back if it still has the pinch? Do any of the after market systems not have the pinch?

I just removed a beautiful but droning Skunk2 from my other car. I want to save weight and improve flow; but no drone and not much louder!
