Hi folks! I've got a 95 Ti with a 40mm drop all the way round (think the springs are AP/Vogtland) with Koni Sport and thats just a stiff combo. Will the front end soften up if I change to OEM ClubSport springs (M-tec), or will it be too little too notice? Thanks Niels Ps. I've got no springrates to give concerning the 40mm lowering springs. | | | 08-06-2007, 03:45 PM | #2 | Senior Member Join Date: Jan 2006 Location: Greece Athens Posts: 302 | The M Techs will definetely ride better that the 40mm springs, but they 'll not look as good. __________________ Alpina front lip spoiler,ACS roof spoiler,OEM clear rear-side lights,In-Pro blackchrome front indicators,Lummar tinted glasses,318ti.org decalls,Eibach Sportline 45mm/30mm springs,Bilstein Sprint shocks,16mm rear sway bar, front eccentric wishbone bushes,E46 conv. Anyone else got experiences with M-TEC? What about M-TEC compared to standard? | | | 08-18-2007, 01:38 AM | #4 | Senior Member Join Date: Jun 2004 Location: Florida Posts: 160 | Hey mate. I had the touring springs and switched the front ones to new 1995 Clubsport M springs with new Bilstein HD's. The damn HD's and their added pressure kept the car at the same height as the factory touring bits for about a year. They have finally settled and look and feel great. I will try the rear Clubsports one day. Next may be the H&R sport springs with Bilstein sport, but I really noticed a performance difference switching to the Clubsports. Thinking about Anti-role bars though. All the best. cossieturbo | | | 08-18-2007, 03:27 AM | #5 | Senior Member Join Date: Dec 2006 Location: G-dale, California Posts: 1,698 | hey guys ive been looking for m tech springs EVERYWHERE i dont want to get used ones just because i like to have new parts on the car. He will ask for your CCA #. They charge "low" MSRP -20% on parts to members, which is the cheapest I've been able to find (most dealerships use the "high" MSRP on parts and only discount -10%). 502-499-5080. Tell 'em "Hans" sent you.
