Default Someone calld my ti a Scirroco...

and I almost had to bitch slap the poor ignorant fool. Well I would have but it was a guy helping me stain my deck and I needed the job done haha.

Scirrocs' are ugly fugly odd looking VW's that you rarely see and don't really look anything like a ti' I told him. He's like no it looks just like a Scirocco. I had to download a pic of the fugly VW to show him. He changed his mind after that.

My first car was an 87 16v scirocco. Just like the silver one below. I personally think they look cool. The ti looks similar to the corrado. The 16v scirocco was also faster than a 944 porsche at the time it was released. 0-60 in 8.1 seconds.

Rieger makes a really clean looking kit for the scirocco and the black one is slammed with m-tech mirrors.

Maybe you should be bitch slapped

My last car was a 1988 16V Scirocco, and I loved the car.

This makes me want to seek out a 16v scirocco to restore. Though I've attempted to find one in decent shape in the past and did not have any luck. I found out the kid I sold mine to rolled it. I wanted to buy it back from him.

Damn maybe I should be bitch slapped lol. I'll get my girlfreind to bitch slap me later. she'll do better job...hehe.

Yeah I guess he was trying to push my buttons and I reacted a bit over the top.

I admit Scirrocos are not bad looking cars...just not a sharp as a ti' I guess. Last one I saw was a rusty rollin wreck all riced out and it left a bad taste. Teh guy was running a temporary spare in the rear and it was like 3 different colors

Corrado's look more like the ti...your right

I absolutely love Corrados, but they're even harder to find than Ti's. A couple weeks ago I saw one in the junkyard, almost brought a tear to my eye. roccos are nice too if done up right. In stock form, they're not very appealing.

Top this

I'm at the gas station the other day, and the guy in front of my car is staring at the front end. I figure he was reading my license plate. Then he says," Is that an X5"?

Where did he get that from?

Ive been mistaken by a civic before after showing someone a side view pic of my car... lol

when I first posted pics of my car on the local forum (which was a first for some people to see this car) - one guy was like "BMW corrado! WTFFFFF!" lol

coraddo's are relatively easy to come by down here though, but Ti's are next to impossible.

I almost bought a raddo a few years ago, but the g60 scared me, not a good motor to find parts for AT ALL... the charger is garbage.

VRsex FTW.

yeah you never see Corrados. I see Jettas and Golfs all day long. I actually had a Jetta. Got serious gas mileage.

Most of my freinds look at my car and say what model BMW is that? Usually I say oh..this is the ultrarare ti. Can't get them anymore. Probably worth 30 gs hehe
