I would get rid of the front plate and install a filler strip there since you are not running a front plate. And paint the lower gray trim black. The grills look like they are from a H2. __________________ ...steven BMW CCA #146825 1996 BMW 328ti • 2003 MINI Cooper S • 2016 M235i www.bmwcca.org | | | 06-03-2006, 10:01 PM | #5 | Member Join Date: May 2006 Location: Greensboro, North Carolina Posts: 77 | Thanks for the tips. I might keep the bottom trim gray though. I kinda like the two tone. I had a black plate with a chrome frame. I replaced that with a chrome plate. | | | 06-03-2006, 10:36 PM | #6 | Senior Member Join Date: Oct 2005 Location: Quad Cities, Iowa Posts: 2,110 | Ive never seen those fender gills before. They are different but I kinda like them, they look better on the ti then the M3 gills. __________________ "Drive Fast and Take Chances" | | | 06-03-2006, 11:31 PM | #7 | Senior Member Join Date: Nov 2005 Location: Toronto Posts: 167 | Ive seen those side gills before. I'd have made you a deal on the chrome hatch hancle cover thing I just pulled off of my ti. And I'm about to pull off the gills too. But yeah... new paint is the shizznit, yo? :-) __________________ Real men know how to SEARCH! I hope you didn't use some tire shine stuff on those tires - all that does is degrades them faster. __________________ | | | 06-04-2006, 02:37 AM | #10 | Member Join Date: May 2006 Location: Greensboro, North Carolina Posts: 77 | Quote: Originally Posted by flex_318 Ive seen those side gills before. You got a nice looking ti man but i would suggest colour matching the skirts/ front rear. | | | 06-04-2006, 02:58 AM | #14 | Member Join Date: May 2006 Location: Greensboro, North Carolina Posts: 77 | Thanks! I used TurtleWax Wet'nBlack on the tires. But you should have seen my car before I got it painted. The hood was completely faded and the paint on the car was dull. It looked pretty bad. Its a world of difference now. | | | 06-04-2006, 03:18 AM | #15 | Senior Member Join Date: Jun 2005 Location: Bend, OR Posts: 413 | HOW MUCH DID IT COST T GET THE WHOLE THING PAINTED? sry bout the caps...just realized. | | | | | Currently Active Users Viewing This Thread: 1 (0 members and 1 guests) | | Posting Rules | You may not post new threads You may not post replies You may not post attachments You may not edit your posts HTML code is Off | | | |
