Default 92 2.5L exhaust help

I have a ti with a 2.5 swap from a 92 325is. I didnt do the swap, and the guy who did put on an ill-fitting, ill-performing ricer exhaust. What are my options? What will fit?

Any info will help.

A stock 2.5l exhaust is your cheapest option. Any exhaust for a 325 will fit, but the down-stream stuff may need to be changed, depending of course on what else was botched down-stream.

There is a slim chance the '95 3.0 M3 exhaust will fit, and this should be a nice up-grade if you can verify it fits.

But isnt the length going to be an issue? I want to keep my cat, that is fine, I am just wondering what will bolt on to replace the muffler part.

Neither you, nor I have any idea exactly WHAT cat you have.

You may need to change that along with the header, and you may not.

If the rice header is designed to fit on a stock cat, you will be in luck. If it was Disney-engineered, it could be anything. If it's the latter, it is in your best interest to get a proper cat for it.

I put on the cat, it is a stock cat. Just the muffler piece is what i want to replace.

Ahhh... My misunderstanding. I thought you needed a complete exhaust starting at the engine.

The European market got a 323ti, so that exhaust may bolt right on. Any other options are custom. I use an M3 exhaust, which has been modified heavily to fit. Expect cutting and welding.

The cheapest option is typically to go to the local muffler shop and have something made up with the muffler of your choice.

in my conversations with Will Turner at Turner Motorsports, a Z3 2.8l exhaust will bolt right up.
