The central locking unlocking works with both doors / hatch / fuel filler door when I lock either for or hatch with a key, but not the remote. Have replaced the remote battery twice - the red LED on the remote lights up, but the the doors / hatch / fuel filler do don't unlock. Anyone know of a way to ascertain if it's the remote or something in the system? | | | 06-29-2017, 04:02 PM | #2 | Senior Member Join Date: May 2013 Location: Seattle Posts: 513 | I have this. Though I am still in the "intermittent" phase. I haven't fixed it yet, but I always assumed that it was the antennae on the control module or the control module itself. Getting a used one seems to be cheaper than getting a new remote, so that's where I was going to start. | | | 06-29-2017, 06:27 PM | #3 | Senior Member Join Date: Jun 2005 Location: Florida Posts: 178 | Quote: Originally Posted by BRADESTAR I have this. I've tried to find a used remote, but haven't been successful yet. | | | 06-30-2017, 03:19 AM | #4 | Senior Member Join Date: May 2013 Location: Seattle Posts: 513 | Quote: Originally Posted by DGWGuitars Will be interesting to see what you find out. | I was going to say the same thing to you! Mine is still working interment, so this is down the list. A next year thing. | | | 07-02-2017, 09:49 PM | #5 | Senior Member Join Date: Jun 2005 Location: Florida Posts: 178 | Quote: Originally Posted by BRADESTAR I was going to say the same thing to you! Have been looking for a "new" two-button remote, but they seem to be virtually nonexistent. | | | | Currently Active Users Viewing This Thread: 1 (0 members and 1 guests) | | Thread Tools | | Display Modes | Linear Mode | Posting Rules | You may not post new threads You may not post replies You may not post attachments You may not edit your posts HTML code is Off | | | |
