Anybody seen the wild wide body, turbo E50 powered ti on the cover of the February issue of eurotuner magazine? It's hard to miss in Dakar yellow, but the pic is from the front and it's not clear it's a ti at first. The wide body kit is all custom fabbed and looks pretty nice, but it's also a little extreme. It has a full cage inside and race looking interior. It claims to have 550rwhp on only 8psi boost!? It also has a 6spd that came form the Euro M3 they got the engine from. It's also shown doing some smokey donuts. Not exactly my taste, but nicely done and it's cool to have a ti on the cover of a magazine! __________________ Pete N | | | 01-25-2007, 12:16 AM | #2 | Senior Member Join Date: Apr 2006 Location: dorchester Posts: 700 | someone please scan a pic ...this i gotta see!!!!!! | | | 01-25-2007, 12:25 AM | #3 | TRETEN IRGENDEINES ESELS Join Date: Aug 2004 Location: Rhode Island Posts: 3,687 | Isn't there a member on here who posted pics of a goldish widebody ti? It was all custom with roll cage and swapped engine. Let me search for it. __________________ 98 Avus Blue 318 ti Active clear outs all around, stealth turning signals, blue led interior lights, 35% tinted windows,K&N air filter, 12" Kenwood Sub, MTX Thunder Amp,Alpine cd changer, Leatherz Armrest,ACS Pedals/Handbrake/FloorMats & Vitesse Tuning Carbon Fiber B-Pillars/CF Spark Plug Cover, New 16" MSW Typer 14 Rims on Goodyear Triple Treds www.myspace.com/avusblueti | | | 01-25-2007, 12:31 AM | #4 | TRETEN IRGENDEINES ESELS Join Date: Aug 2004 Location: Rhode Island Posts: 3,687 | __________________ 98 Avus Blue 318 ti Active clear outs all around, stealth turning signals, blue led interior lights, 35% tinted windows,K&N air filter, 12" Kenwood Sub, MTX Thunder Amp,Alpine cd changer, Leatherz Armrest,ACS Pedals/Handbrake/FloorMats & Vitesse Tuning Carbon Fiber B-Pillars/CF Spark Plug Cover, New 16" MSW Typer 14 Rims on Goodyear Triple Treds www.myspace.com/avusblueti | | | 01-25-2007, 12:48 AM | #5 | Senior Member Join Date: Jan 2007 Location: Ireland Posts: 382 | ahhh too much i think.... i dont like the rear and im not a big fan of wide body kits..... front looks nice tho and cant argue with the power of the engine..... | | | 01-25-2007, 01:07 AM | #6 | Senior Member Join Date: Aug 2006 Location: ipswich Posts: 656 | i think the only thing that spoils it is the spoiler rest is very aggressive __________________ 318TI FOR SALE MESSAGE ME FOR MORE INFORMATION | | | 01-25-2007, 01:27 AM | #7 | TRETEN IRGENDEINES ESELS Join Date: Aug 2004 Location: Rhode Island Posts: 3,687 | I don't know if this is the same car that is on the cover of the eurotuner mag. I just recalled this member posting pics of his ti. __________________ 98 Avus Blue 318 ti Active clear outs all around, stealth turning signals, blue led interior lights, 35% tinted windows,K&N air filter, 12" Kenwood Sub, MTX Thunder Amp,Alpine cd changer, Leatherz Armrest,ACS Pedals/Handbrake/FloorMats & Vitesse Tuning Carbon Fiber B-Pillars/CF Spark Plug Cover, New 16" MSW Typer 14 Rims on Goodyear Triple Treds www.myspace.com/avusblueti | | | 01-25-2007, 01:31 AM | #8 | Senior Member Join Date: Apr 2006 Location: dorchester Posts: 700 | im in love..take the spoiler off and change the diffuser and oh my god sooooo nice!!! Even the owner said he didn't really like big wings, but the rest of the body work was so wild, it needed it. He really did nice work on the all metal wide body job, especially where it blends into the front and rear bumpers. He did an amazing job of hiding all the wiring in the engine compartment, very clean. It is also mostly M3 suspension and structure underneath. __________________ Pete N | | | 01-27-2007, 10:08 PM | #11 | Senior Member Join Date: Oct 2005 Location: Quad Cities, Iowa Posts: 2,110 | This guy posted on my version of this thread.
