Default cleaned maf sensor but still get transmission light

Im still having trouble with this maf sensor code p0101 I got the crc maf cleaner and cleaned really well waited for it to dry i took the right steps thanks to everyone here but seems to still get that problem any advice on that? after i cleaned it the car started smooth and drove really really nice but after i shut of the engine and left home an hour later the car got back to it.. im sure it wouldnt be the transmission because the car drives amazing when the light is off.. im thinking of buying the maf sensor right away BUT also noticed HUGE cracks on this part #13711433978 https://www.ecstuning.com/News/ES34767/ could it be possible that a huge crack on that part keep turning on the code and trans light? or could it be something else like the air idle control ? also do i need to buy a oem maf sensor or can i get any online that fit ? please help

You will have Un metered air being sucked in the engine if that's got cracks/splits in it my advice would be to change that before forking out for a maf sensor or at least for the time being put a load of electrical tape around it.

Yes that will cause a MAF code and the car will run like crap. Replace that part and you should be fine. John S

Did you ever get this problem sorted out? If so please post how you fixed it so board members can use your thread as reference, who knows you might help someone out that is having problems like you had.
