Posts: 3,156 | No, you obviously missed the "wife" part. All money normally assigned to the vehicle, is instantly re-routed to the wife within .004 nano second of marriage vows... Now just for clarification for anyone who cares: when refering to 'right' and 'left' sides of the vehicle, it is referenced from the seated position; IE from the drivers seat. When seated and you look forward, and your left is the car's left, and your right is the car's right. This avoids confusion with "driver's side" when we deal wth an international audience, as we do here. So, I have a left grill assembly from my '98, but unfortunately, you need a right grill asembly. You need this distinction straight for calling the wrecking yards as well, or you could end up with the wrong side. | | | 01-31-2006, 12:12 AM | #9 | Member Join Date: Jul 2005 Location: Atlanta, GA Posts: 97 | Also good to know. Or we can reference the parts on the car like an Optomitrist... "od" for the right and "os" for the left side. I would need the "od" side. | | | 01-31-2006, 01:05 AM | #10 | Moderator Join Date: Jun 2003 Location: Bouncing off the rev limiter in CT! Posts: 3,156 | Which robots are you working with? I have about 14 years with the Fanuc robots (starting with the old RH, RJ, RJ2, RJ3) and about 1 with the ABB. I can make the Fanuc do just about anything... I also wasted many long hours with the old Mitsubishi robots prior to the Fanucs too... | | | 01-31-2006, 03:27 AM | #11 | Member Join Date: Jul 2005 Location: Atlanta, GA Posts: 97 | Quote: Originally Posted by J!m Which robots are you working with? | My robots are much smaller than Fanuc robotics. I also work with robotics. We use to fit Fanuc controls to our CNC grinding machines, but lately we've developed our own custom software running on x86 platforms. ahhh the geekery.... | | | 02-01-2006, 02:35 PM | #13 | Moderator Join Date: Jun 2003 Location: Bouncing off the rev limiter in CT! Posts: 3,156 | FANUC CNC is totally different from their robotics language. Sounds crazy, but it is. We have FANUC CNCs running in the back, and I've had a look at the language... It's NOTHING like the robotics. But, it is a good system for CNC. | | | 02-03-2006, 06:06 AM | #14 | Senior Member Join Date: Feb 2004 Location: Port St. Johns, Florida Posts: 2,242 | I got a grill, you need the driver's side right? make me an offer and it's yours. | | | 02-28-2006, 04:26 AM | #15 | Member Join Date: Jul 2005 Location: Atlanta, GA Posts: 97 | No, I need passengers side.
