While surfing for more info about my new baby i found this site http://www.unofficialbmw.com/e36/ele...ce_lights.html Has anyone tried this "fix"? If so Did it work? and are there any things that may be at risk by trying this? Thanks Ruddman | | | 09-05-2005, 02:13 AM | #2 | Senior Member Join Date: Nov 2004 Location: Minneapolis Posts: 1,587 | I've done it many times. You only need a paperclip or small piece of wire There's no need to get an exact 3.25 or 11 seconds, counting in your head works just fine. | | | 10-09-2005, 07:12 AM | #3 | Member Join Date: Sep 2005 Location: Edmonton, Alberta, Canada Posts: 33 | Finally got around to trying this and it worked great. thanks! I do not have to buy a $50 tool to do the job. __________________ 1998 BMW 318ti M-Tech Sport Silver (Gone to member leeko617) CURRENT: 2015 BMW X1, 2004 BMW 330ci Convertible, 1998 Porsche Boxster, 2001 BMW 525i Touring GONE: 2000 Audi A4, 2002 VW Passat, 1985 VW Cabriolet | | | 10-21-2005, 11:51 PM | #5 | Senior Member Join Date: Feb 2005 Location: Canada Posts: 101 | I built my own tool,. works great! plug it in and sit in the car till the lights reset,. worked every time __________________ canadian_ti 1997 Acura CL | | | 10-27-2005, 04:50 PM | #6 | Senior Member Join Date: Oct 2005 Location: Watford, herts, England Posts: 805 | brilliant! been annoyed by that for ages. __________________ '96 318ti in Montreal Blue :m-tec sideskirts,m-bootspoiler,clear corners & repeaters .m-tech side mouldings, Magnex Exhaust System, leather armrest, F-15 gear Knob, 18" Evo 2's.
