But even that sometimes doesn't reset the SI lights. I tried to reset the oil lights on a friends car and my Peake just wouldn't reset them. __________________ ...steven BMW CCA #146825 1996 BMW 328ti • 2003 MINI Cooper S • 2016 M235i www.bmwcca.org | | | 04-16-2004, 08:00 PM | #3 | Senior Member Join Date: Jun 2003 Location: Manhattan Kansas Posts: 242 | I had the same problem with my Peake. I tried again to reset the lights several weeks later and it worked. | | | 04-17-2004, 01:48 AM | #4 | Senior Member Join Date: Jun 2003 Location: Littleton, CO Posts: 190 | Hey try this website, follow the directions should work for you no problem http://www.tibimmer.com/resetoilservicelights.shtml Admin note: Link not working as 5/18/2004 __________________ Custom Cold Air Intake, Custom IAT controller, SuperSprint Exhaust, High Flow CAT, Long Tube Header, H&R 'Race' Lowering springs, Short Shifter, JB Racing Lightweight Flywheel, M3 Clutch Kit w/Rogue Semi-Metalic Disk, Zex Nitrous System, Euro Clear Corners, Elipsoid Headlights w/Halos, Eyebrows, Window Tinting, Invisible Bra | | | 05-15-2004, 06:51 PM | #5 | Senior Member Join Date: Jul 2003 Location: Marion, IA Posts: 388 | I just reset mine and it didn't want to work at first. I just used a lead from a volt meter. I stuck the pointy end in pin 7, and the fat end (the end that plugs into the volt meter) on pin 19, which is ground. It didn't work the first 3 or 4 times I tried. Finally I jiggled the pin 7 connector and really poked the lead down in and it reset. It must have been slightly corroded or loose. Make sure you read the pins correctly as they are a bit confusing to read on the higher number pins. Pin 19, signal ground, might work better than using the chassis ground because it is coming from the same circuit. I have the OBDI computer, not II. Quote: Originally Posted by first_bmw Hey all...
