Centre Console Hazards & Central Locking

Hi Guys have just purchased a 316ti 2001 and have noticed that the centre console that has the hazard light and central locking button is not working, anyone else had this problem im guesing maybe a fuse had a look but all looked fine and couldn't identify the specific fuse for that section any help would be appreciated thanks Rico

Ok guys I had a little play and tried to remove the plastic from around the centre console (which i didn't manage to do) but once i stopped playing i found that if i push the hazard light fairly hard it works but still no luck with central locking button do you think there must be a lose connection underneath?
