Default Just bought a ti, exhaust problem

So I bought a ti from a member on here about a month or so ago, it had a bad exhaust on it so I bought a stromung for it last week....I went to install it and the current cat is cut and the exhaust was just wended to it. So I don't want to have to cut the brand new stromung or should I??? The exhaust also makes a kinda rattling noise when accelerating hard...is that a bad cat or could it be just the exhaust that's on it?

If it is the cat, you all know how $$$ it is to fix it, should I get the whole thing or just a cat and have that welded to the existing mid pipe and the new exhaust?

Thanks

congrats on the new ti. i wouldn't touch the stromung. put a proper fitting on the the end of the cat pipe. i had a rattle problem and it was a loose heat shield and get this, the anti rattle rubber thing that's bolted on down there. i would check those before anything else
