I have his panel sitting in my basement.
Trust me, it does not look horrible. It is very clean.

I would imagine that yes, it can be modded to fit (that's kind of the nature of modifications, right?)

However, with the 318ti dash, you're going to have to cut where the radio fits in. You're also going to have a gap that needs filled on the driver's side of it (note that in the M Roadster, the dash fits only the radio's width, where on our cars it is the radio plus the OBC/clock).
