I have two car seats in my ti, including a backward-facing infant carrier. I'm the one responsible for day care drop-off and pick-up, so I do this
every day. Just about 5'9'', 150 lbs. Bit of a drag, but it could be worse--I could be taking public transportation.
My older daughter just climbs into her seat on the passenger side, and I dive into the back and buckle her in. My infant sits behind me--I flip two latches on my seat and I can swing her carrier onto its base without having to step into the back. As for the size, I can pick up dropped toys, blankies, sippy cups (I know, I know, I too said absolutely no drinks in
my car) and hand it right back to my daughter. I can comfort and tickle her when we're stuck in traffic. She can play with the sagging headliner (Daddy, your roof is falling down!
)...
