Mileage is 257,000. The car is very clean and comfortable and runs very strong with no mechanical problems. The interior is in very good shape; no rips or tears, minimal wear even to the driver's seat bolster. All systems function correctly, including cruise control, onboard computer/clock, remote entry, alarm and sunroof. I have replaced: 1) The water pump and the fixture under the exhaust manifold in the cooling system. This broke shortly after I purchased the car, over a year ago. After repairs I drove the car non stop from L.A. to Marin with no trouble and have had no problems since. Temp needle stays dead vertical. 2) The stereo. The car has a new 4 channel system with a Sony head unit (model MEX-GS620BT), an Alpine MRV-F300 amp, Rockford Fosgate and Polk Audio speakers. The Sony is a radio/cd unit with a usb port for IPOD and a bluetooth handsfree cell phone hookup with microphone. 3) r/r fluids. Transmission & differential are filled with fresh Royal Purple ATF Max 75/90. Engine oil is Valvoline SynPower 5/30 full synthetic. 4) New plugs and wires. 5) New battery, 7/17. Here is the list of parts the previous owner replaced. These are only prominent items. In addition, he changed TPS (1st and 2nd), PCV, ICV, and cam sensor. 1) clutch discs + Guibo joint 2) wheels bearings (all four corners) 3) steering rack 4) alternator 5) fuel pump + sender + filter 6) radiator + water pump + thermostat + hoses 7) secondary air pump (smog pump) + EGR valve 8) oxygen sensors 9) struts + shocks (original Sachs) 10) rear subframe mounts 11) all discs + pads 12) front control arms 13) crankshaft seals (front + rear) 14) driver side window regulator 15) head cover gasket Upgrades: M-steering wheel BMW genuine chrome interior trims M3 side mirrors M3 DS1 rims with less than 1 year old Michelin tires M3 front bushing Urethane rear swing arm bushing BMW clear lights for all four corners K&N air filter HID headlights with angel eyes (not hooked up) Factory style rear spoiler I paid $5,000 for this car. I have since purchased another 318ti with lower mileage, making this car redundant. I would not hesitate to drive it anywhere. I am going to place it on Craigslist for $4,250. I would rather it went to a ti enthusiast who would appreciate and care for it. | | | 08-06-2018, 07:34 AM | #2 | Junior Member Join Date: Apr 2018 Location: California Posts: 19 | Interest in your ti, from Petaluma Norcal, Avus blue is not a bad color... It's The Best Color. Seriously, i missed your message til this evening. Vintage Oaks would have been fun. I'm definitely in the market. I could stand a couple more photos, but don't even really need them. Might I be able to phone you? 318ti.org is great!
