It has quite a drone at 80mph Any good ideas? | | | 11-14-2011, 01:30 PM | #2 | Senior Member Join Date: Nov 2010 Location: Potomac Falls VA DMV Posts: 1,794 | Stromung are quiet! I also thought the stromung was too loud. Especially with the package tray out. You could have a resonator put on the stromung. I used the stock resonator and have been happy with the resulting noise. __________________ No more ti. | | | 11-14-2011, 03:15 PM | #4 | Member Join Date: Aug 2011 Location: Long Beach CA Posts: 88 | Quote: Originally Posted by familytruckster It's all relative. It has to come out anyway cuz it's hitting the floor pan somewhere; prolly where the OE is relieved | | | 11-14-2011, 06:26 PM | #5 | Senior Member Join Date: Apr 2007 Location: Elizabeth City, NC Posts: 3,877 | I have a remus and I really like the sound level. It's definitely not super loud but you can hear it when you get on the gas. There is no drone that I have heard. Can't really compare it to a stromung, I haven't ridden in a car with one. __________________ ~Dave~ 98 328ti Morea Grun slicktop 11 128i space gray slicktop 13 JGC WK2 Deep Cherry Search | RealOEM | | | 11-14-2011, 07:19 PM | #6 | Senior Member Join Date: Jan 2005 Location: Louisiana Posts: 1,093 | If u want to sell your stromung I'll buy . __________________ was the 1 an only Bagged Ti on 19's!! | | | 11-14-2011, 09:11 PM | #7 | Senior Member Join Date: Jul 2009 Location: MD/PA/DC Posts: 1,629 | Quote: Originally Posted by spidertri I have a remus and I really like the sound level. And sadly, it seems to be the same way for my stromung hybrid. I had the wife pass me at WOT and I couldn't hear the exhaust. __________________ No more ti. | | | 11-14-2011, 09:22 PM | #8 | Senior Member Join Date: Apr 2007 Location: Elizabeth City, NC Posts: 3,877 | Really?
