Someone really needs to come up with a script to determine the model.

my Ti is a 97, it has ASC, no cruise control, sunroof, fog lights, 16 or maybe 17 inch five star BMW wheels. so would that be sport or active??

Mine is not on your list!

It's a 1999 Ti Sport Edition, weird choice of name but as far as I know it is the UK version of the club sport.

It had 16" alloys (now has 18"), special edition boa amaretta sports seats, anthracite headling, aircon, ASC+T, total closure alarm Immob, M-tec leather steering wheel gear knob and handbrake lever, M-tec front bumper with integral fog lights, M-tec rear bumper with integral splitter, M-tec side sills, M-tec badged flat side body moldings, white lenses front and rear, premimum audio pack, tinted glass inc. graduated tinted front screen (optioned extra).

I don't know what version I have, maybe in EU we have other names or so but this is what I have as options:

318ti '96
- Sunroof
- Airco
- ABS
- Elec. Mirrors & Windows (front)
- Alarm (Class 3) & Central locking system (don't know if it's the correct name for it)
- 15" alloy wheels
- BMW Sound system
- Airbag

I don't know if I have ASC How can I see if I have it ?

In the US it might be considered an Active if you had cruise control standard and it came with15" alloys.

ASC started sometime in 96. If you have a button on the lower dash, you have ASC.

I don't have cruise controle, but the I have the 15" rims. In the US I think I have the BASE version. In the EU version my version is called EXECUTIVE VERSION. I also think that I don't have ASC :S

sounds like a sport due to the m trim and 16s.
