I find it funny that your car was once destined to the GRM $2014 challenge and now is considered extremely clean. Really shows how our cars are at the bottom of their depreciation curves.

I don't have anything to add to help with the problem you're having with your car though.

Yeah I wouldn't say its clean. It definitely has rust on the fenders and imperfections around the body but I'm happy with it. Its funky and different and that's why I love these cars.

i'm curious what size tires you have. They don't look like 205-60's.

UPDATE: I was told that if it was in fact the PCV that was making that howling sound. I was told it would go away by removing the dipstick if it was and sure enough that did the trick. It was merely a $30 fix and the car runs like a dream now. Thanks for the input guys!

What I was told was to check if the Pcv is bad you pull your oil dipstick. If it makes a suction sound and the howling noise goes away then it's bad. That's what happened in my case.

is that before you bought it? I'm not a fan of colored wheels BUT that orange looks really sweet on the white.

Yes sir, this was the previous owner. He even posted videos of it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ehEs43exsJU

Some may say he's beating on it but I say its just how these cars should be driven.

UPDATE: On Wednesday I will be putting in new inner/outer tie rods, ball joints, control arms and bushings along with an alignment. Should feel like a new car afterwards!

Here's my car last night on one of the only scenic "driving roads" nearby, Route 1A through Hampton and Rye, NH. Getting stuck in the twisties

Finally got the refresh kit installed. This included tie rods, control arms, ball joints and any bushings. Also washed and waxed.
