Swap HID ballast as well. isolate the light assembly and Ballast. This should answer your problem. | | | 02-17-2010, 05:34 PM | #3 | Senior Member Join Date: Mar 2009 Location: Long Beach, SoCal Posts: 373 | Quote: Originally Posted by avusbluem98 Ok i ordered a set of plug n play headlights with angel eyes, i got the passenger side in and working, but the drivers side...i have the one gray spliced into the gray/purple wire of the turn signal, and the plug n play harness hooked up, the low and high beam power supplies hooked up, but the rings do not light up, the driving beam does not work....just the bright comes on. ive double checked everything and as far as i can see, everything is hooked up right.....anyone else had this issue or suggestions??? thanks in advance. | Double check all of your connections, the plug n play wire for the AE may have popped out of the harness. or they are connected to the wrong pin all together. Also, what method did you use to splice in to the parking lamps? I used Ttaps, but soldering is said to be best. (bad connection maybe) If that fails, maybe you blew a fuse. Use 10a or 15a. Good luck. __________________ 1998'SportR.I.P. 1995 Sport AlpineIII | | | 02-21-2010, 01:18 AM | #4 | Junior Member Join Date: Dec 2009 Location: hendersonville, n.c. Posts: 3 | My problem is my high beam (passenger side) fuse blows everytime I turn them on? All the other lights are working right (minus passenger high beam)? But the high beam will work if I unplug the passenger side low-beam? Just not both at the same time, that blows the fuse? Tryed to use a 10a and 15a fuse rather them the 7.5a? Still blows? HeLP! Thanks... | | | 02-21-2010, 06:04 PM | #7 | Senior Member Join Date: Mar 2009 Location: Long Beach, SoCal Posts: 373 | Quote: Originally Posted by slan2839 My problem is my high beam (passenger side) fuse blows everytime I turn them on?
