1. how do you import a DVD to your library?

2. I have imported videos, but I lost the audio on them, how do I convert them to work?

does anyone know how to do these without downloading additional programs onto the computer?

pretty sure the ipod uses a different format for video. you need a converter.

If you want to convert DVDs for use in iTunes I recommend Handbrake (http://handbrake.fr/). They have it for Windows and Mac. iTunes cannot by default import DVDs. If you are using a Mac, then I would use Mac The Ripper and Handbrake for conversion.

+1 handbrake is good same with mac the ripper. I use both of those. Can't do it with itunes solely.
