Nope. I don't have an OBC.

I'm located in Southern NJ, 15 minutes away from Philly.

ssprint. You'll have to wait until the tree is removed from the car and wait for my friend to check with her homeowner's insurance. They are closed for the holidays, so we'll have to wait until Wednesday. If I get insurance money, then I might take the money and buy another car, but if its a total loss (more likely) then the parts will be made available. For now, everyone can get their "dibs" on parts.

Are they alloy wheels, I currently have a bent rim and would be interested in 1 or all 4. I was wondering how much you would want for them as well
Thanks Frank

Are you taking dibs on the CAT + o2, or just the o2 for the CAT ?

I'd take the cat and o2.
Maybe a trailing arm.
We'll see, I have a lead a subframe so I'm almost there.

Ok.. acknowledged.. Steering wheel, o2 and cat, etc..

Here's an update. The car is now freed from the tree, I'm getting it towed home today.

The claim for my car is still being investigated. State Farm said that if the tree was not healthy and the owners were negligent then they would pay the claim. If it was healthy and just blew over, they are going to deny the claim.

Never have I seen anything like that!! What cause the tree to tip over like that? Thank God noone was hurt! If you interior was black I would have taken the carpet and headliner. Only other thing I need are the window switches. Let me know what you want for them.

BTW, Adoro bailar salsa también!!!

Thanks,
Fernando

Cool. Keep the list coming.
Here are the pics of the car out of the tree and towed back to my house
http://www.typer.us/bmw2/

The tree guy said the tree was healthy. So I know they won't pay the claim.
There just one more insurance company I need to check and then the parts are going to start selling.

Look like a 90%-95% chance I'm going to part the car. After assessing the damage, there are a TON of parts still usable and great shape. The engine survived, so if anyone was looking for one to turbo, this one was BONE stock and ran great.
It looks like there would be a ton of work to fix the firewall (pully all the engine parts and and crap). So I'm not going to pay someone to fix it.

The front bumper is in wonderful condition except for a small scrap that the previous owner made a week before I got the car..

All the glass is good.. Everything else looks good on the car. I'm glad the tree totally missed the rear hatch and bumper. The entire exhaust system survived. The radiator is in excellent shape..

I'll have to research all the parts and see how much they cost new and discount them appropriately. So much work to do..
