Yea, they also didnt put in a friggin $2 PCV valve in the kit - made this complex adapter to use for some reason, whereas a new PCV would be a lot more cost effective.. Im sure they had their reasons but I would really like to know them.

PCV is part of smog, to get their CARB sticker they had to leave it with the BMW part. (My wild guess...)

Will let you all know how it went.
Just waiting for some cooling system parts (need new radiator, hoses and thermostat) and then the time to do the job.

For anyone still looking for the pulleys, there was a recent post on the bimmer forum site called hatchback haven. The atlanta club said they had a few sets made up because downing no longer carries them The club website is atlantaz3.com and you can send an email to contact them
