Default Fan always on and will not stop

The fan in my ti seems to be stuck on. I got out of my car and the fan stayed on after the engine was turned off. I know some cars leave the fan running for a few minutes after it has been turned off, so i gave it a few minuets. After the car was completely cooled the fan remained running, and the only way to turn it off was by unplugging the battery. Once i replaced the battery wire, the fan turned on again. Any ideas as to how to fix this problem?

Two things to check.

1 Check your relay switch that's in with the fuses.

2 Check the wire that connects into the side of your fan on the passenger side of the car. Unplug it, inspect it then plug back in and see what happens.

Does it get stuck on the high fan or the low fan?

Atleast you know it's working. I've never seen my fan come on high or low. The temp stays at 12 o'clock though and the aux fan comes on when I turn on the A/C. It might come on when I'm driving, but I've never had the hood open with the engine running long enough to see it click on. Check the things that Tyler mentioned. To check the relay, just swap it with the one next to it, it's the same part number.

I swapped my relay put with the one next to it and it worked fine.
