Default Got an A on my art final...PICS

Besides being the forum jerk, I have a few other interests that I work on in my spare time. As most of you know, I'm pretty handy with a wrench, I enjoy driving BMW's and riding my motorcycle. I don't really talk much about my personal activities, but I also surf and ride mountain bikes. I used to be into fitness, though I must admit that I've slowed down a little since my best friend was murdered last year. I no longer run 7 miles a day, but thats soon to change after the holidays.

Anyway, before I get carried away, I figured I'd share a little of my creative side. I enjoy cooking, mostly gormet Italian since I lived in Sicily for five years and I also like to sing. Yeah I know, wierd and no I'm not gay. Nor do I have anything against the gay community.

Among other forms of art, I do a little drawing now and then. Currently I'm self-unemployed and attending college. This semester I decided to retake an art class that I had to drop in a previous semester. The final project was a self-portrait. I spent about 2 weeks procrastinating and a total of about 2 hours actually drawing. I finished late and actually missed my last day of class, however I managed to pull it off anyway and turned my project in during my teacher's evening class. She was cool about it and gave me an A.

I already know that I'm an ugly muthafacko, but your comments are welcome, good or bad. Here's my self-portrait done with a charcoal medium on cheap sketch paper:

Thanks Marv, Here's a couple more pieces of my work. Sorry for the blurry pics, I had to go out to my car and it's freezing right now. And... well lets just say I've had a few drinks tonight

That's good. I know how hard portraits are. Keep at it.

seeings that Josh threw my name in the hat i suppose i should share my drawings too. the "Bones" drawing is from my college days...the other two were done out of shear boredom...i know, i know...where's the ti? that's my next project.
not quite the talent the Jess exhibits...but, i enjoy scratching out something mood oriented from time to time. here ya go....

the color drawing was my first go at something other then "black & white"...and it still isn't finished
