So i figured this would be the best time to upgrade to 325 brakes right? So to upgrade i need 325/328 callipers, 325/328 carriers, 325/328 pads and 325/328 rotors right? and i have a haynes manual and i can just follow that right? | | | 06-01-2007, 10:06 AM | #2 | Senior Member Join Date: Jan 2006 Location: lancashire, england Posts: 300 | yep! easy. __________________ E36 3.0 M3 Cosmos Schwarz E36 1.8 318ti Cosmos Schwarz | | | 06-01-2007, 12:11 PM | #3 | Senior Member Join Date: Jun 2003 Location: Greenville, SC Posts: 9,356 | All E36 brake pads are the same size except for the M3, M Coupe, M Roaster. Also flush out our brake fluid. You might want to consider the E46 3xx brake upgrade but honestly, stock E36 vented rotors are fine. Plus you have more options when it comes to wheels. __________________ ...steven BMW CCA #146825 1996 BMW 328ti • 2003 MINI Cooper S • 2016 M235i www.bmwcca.org | | | 06-01-2007, 08:12 PM | #4 | Member Join Date: Feb 2007 Location: Vancouver, BC Posts: 30 | pass on the e46 brakes because i have stock rims right now hrmm is this going to be pricey? and can i get new/rebulit calipers from a parts dealer? __________________ 1995 318ti Jetblack - m3 CSL replica bumper - m3 side skirts - AC schnitzer lip spoiler - m3 clear side and signal markers - rear tints -328 callipers+rotors+pads | | | 06-02-2007, 08:37 AM | #5 | Member Join Date: Nov 2006 Location: Diego Posts: 73 | i have brand new brembo slotted and hawk pads 100$ plse shipping | | | 06-02-2007, 03:23 PM | #6 | Senior Member Join Date: Jun 2003 Location: Greenville, SC Posts: 9,356 | Quote: Originally Posted by sixafterfour pass on the e46 brakes because i have stock rims right now hrmm is this going to be pricey? and can i get new/rebulit calipers from a parts dealer? | I got my last new set from Zionsville super cheap.
