Default Those with 18" rims..

What size tires have you successfully used on a 318ti? What's my limit and what's
the most likely spot to rub?

If you get the right offset, you should not rub and I have 225/40/18 tires. Hope this helps!

Do a search and you'll find tons of posts on wheel fitment.

Btw, I'm running 18s.

Cheers,

It depends on the width of the tire, for instance if you are installing an 18' by 8.5 you at least need to have a rim with a 38mm offset. The ideal offset for an 18' by 8 is 40mm.

No rubbing issue with 18 x 8 all around. +1 Just get the right offset.

Another with 18"s here, and no probs atall

et37 and lowered 50/30

negative camber at the front and back (at a guess 4-5 degrees) does help alot

i looked at 19"s recently, and noticed that on a 4cly , the alloy rubbed on the inside against the damper strut.

on a 6cyl with exactly the same drop it fitted.

the reason is because of the wider brake disc.
