Not sure that is the correct date for Bimmerfest 2010. It doesn’t look like they have that date quite nailed down and etched in stone yet for Bimmerfest 2010. And I have not heard if they have announced a new date as of present. So don't unpack your bags yet, I could be wrong. This will be my 4th time going to Bimmerfest as I live about 10 minutes away from it. Last year they moved it to the Polo Club and personally I thought it blew. Sure there was limited parking at the Earl Warner Showgrounds, but at the Polo Club there was a surplus of parking. We didn't even take up half a the polo field and there was a whole other polo field that they were actually playing polo on! The crappy thing is that they crammed us all in and made everyone park nose-to-tail making it impossible to take photos of the rows of cars. It was cool parking on the grass and stuff, but I didn't like how the cars were all bunched up tightly. Also, they didn't give us any choice of parking, they split us up and directed us into spots. So there wasn't a Ti group, a 2002 group, an e30 group etc. So the end result was a bunch of cars packed into a tight square in the middle of a huge polo field. Oh yeah, and since they were playing polo on the other field, nobody was allowed to rev their engines because they didn't want the horses getting scared. The Earl Warner Showgrounds was much better IMO. That was my only gripe about the polo club. It was their first time doing it there, so maybe they were just feeling things out. The real fun is the drive and partying to and from Bimmerfest. | | | | | Currently Active Users Viewing This Thread: 1 (0 members and 1 guests) | | Posting Rules | You may not post new threads You may not post replies You may not post attachments You may not edit your posts HTML code is Off | | | |
