OK. So what purpose does that serve? I'd rather have something that 1) Isn't sticking out like a sore thumb in the trunk area. 2) accessible from the front seat 3) not using a huge lcd monitor. I guess I don't see why people are so impressed that you stuck a computer in a little box and hooked it up to a 120v converter. I'll be wowed when you find a smaller monitor and mold that into the front dash and hide the converter/computer and actually make it useful. Hook it into the OBDII system, control your stereo with it, etc... | | | 12-18-2007, 08:05 PM | #10 | Senior Member Join Date: May 2007 Location: LA, Bellflower, CA Posts: 3,613 | its just the start. im sure bobby will find another spot for it. maybe under the seat or something. give him time. inventions take time to be completed. so far he just has the product. __________________ -Theta Chi- Float like a cadilac, sting like a BIMMER .... my socket is just too thick and won't fit in the hole! damnit! Not to mention that there are several sites dedicated to installing computer based entertainment systems into cars. I know people want to do everything cheaply, but in a lot of cases, if the results come out looking cheap, maybe some more money should have been spent... Everybody is free to do whatever they like with their own car, but if you post the results up here, and it looks cheap, somebody is going to say that it does. Like those rear trunk LED lights. It just looks cheap without something covering the lights. | | | 12-18-2007, 08:55 PM | #12 | Senior Member Join Date: Nov 2006 Location: Orange County, NY Posts: 1,067 | Damn, that's a neat little setup you got there in the trunk! | | | 12-18-2007, 09:08 PM | #13 | Senior Member Join Date: May 2007 Location: LA, Bellflower, CA Posts: 3,613 | damn. guess we just got a mad hating critic here. eh. oh well. what can ya do. whatever man. i still think its neat. bobby, its a great idea. next step is a projector so we can watch movies at the meets. haha. __________________ -Theta Chi- Float like a cadilac, sting like a BIMMER .... my socket is just too thick and won't fit in the hole! damnit!
