I don't want to post it in the thread though. My neighbor still isn't back, but he should be home before Sunday. It'll be best if you guys show about noon or a little after. BTW, your car is probably going to be about a 2 hour job, no biggie. If Bobby or Marv wants their car lowered, we could probably knock it out too. But let's just see how things go with yours first and go from there. __________________ 4 MORE YEARS BABY!!! | | | 09-18-2007, 05:57 AM | #4 | Senior Member Join Date: Nov 2005 Location: çî†ÿ øf åNgëL§, CA Posts: 5,314 | I dont want your dog to eat me....I'm gonna get him back | | | 09-18-2007, 09:19 AM | #5 | Senior Member Join Date: May 2007 Location: LA, Bellflower, CA Posts: 3,613 | lol. not if he attacks u first hugo. yeah if bobbak doesnt get them i have the money already for them. i have this sunday off for sure. so ill be down. during the day that is. if im not hung over. ha. and hopefully ill have my depos installed too by then. | | | 09-18-2007, 09:58 AM | #6 | Senior Member Join Date: Jul 2006 Location: Southern California - Orange county Posts: 978 | sure ill go hey garik dont forget my H & R's ill make sure to pay u for them soon i've just been swamped with all sorts of crap (school k, work, and my comp was leaking so i had to fix that as well __________________ 1995 318ti Cosmos Black Bilsteins w/ H&R Sport, Depos w/ angeleyes and HID 5K, 50% short throw kit, Custom fogged intake, AC schnitzer pedels w/ deadpedels, leather stickshift knob, vitesse tuning Ebreak boot w/ shift boot, X-Brace, 325/328 brake upgrade, Gray millpoint leather and cloth interior, custom computer multimedia system, and Style 5 BBS 17" rims, M3 Mirrors, CF Hood | | | 09-19-2007, 02:33 AM | #7 | Senior Member Join Date: Dec 2006 Location: G-dale, California Posts: 1,698 | ya ill come down right after work around 12ish ill hit the road...just PM me the address and ill come down. This thing will go down Sunday. I just ripped my car apart again, trying to figure out what the hell is wrong with the charging system. This is my THIRD alternator. it's only producing 13v and it drops down to 11.9v within a few minutes after startup. Then I took it for a spin around the block and checked it again. It was putting out 12.5v??? I cleaned the connections where it meets the starter and the battery, followed the wires through the distribution box, checked continuity and everything checked okay. I'm stumped. On a good note, my new radiator arrived today. I can't believe it got here so freakin quick. I ordered it yesterday at 2:00pm and it arrived via DHL today at 11:00am! Less than 24 hours. 128 bucks w/free shipping. I have class all day tomorrow, so Thursday I'll detail my motor and put everything back together. Then Friday after class, I'll head back down to Northridge and try alternator #4. God I'm sick of this car! __________________ 4 MORE YEARS BABY!!! | | | 09-19-2007, 05:03 AM | #11 | Senior Member Join Date: Dec 2006 Location: G-dale, California Posts: 1,698 | damn bro ...i know it sucks when a car you love at first gives yo problems no matter how much you loved it when it starts to act up like that you just want to throw it away and start over! i dont think its worth all the trouble and hassles but then again thats just me. i love the TI but if it ever starts to give me problems like that i will sell it asap and get me a s2k __________________ Live Everyday As If Its Your Last A friend is someone who is willing to step into a flame to save you........aka a 318ti | | | 09-19-2007, 05:21 AM | #12 | Senior Member Join Date: May 2007 Location: LA, Bellflower, CA Posts: 3,613 | yeah. if bobbak still wants them, they are his. i was only gonna swoop on them if he didnt want them anymore. im a jew like that. and bob will finally not have that one bouncing wheels while he drives. lol. then bob can help me figure out a way to make a sharkfin antenna work. | | | 09-19-2007, 05:30 AM | #13 | Senior Member Join Date: Dec 2006 Location: G-dale, California Posts: 1,698 | Quote: Originally Posted by Marv17 yeah. if bobbak still wants them, they are his. i was only gonna swoop on them if he didnt want them anymore. im a jew like that. and bob will finally not have that one bouncing wheels while he drives. lol. then bob can help me figure out a way to make a sharkfin antenna work. | lol i just cant wait to finally have a stiffer ride and not have that clunk noise or that horrible old civic bounce when going over cracks __________________ Live Everyday As If Its Your Last A friend is someone who is willing to step into a flame to save you........aka a 318ti | | | 09-19-2007, 05:42 AM | #14 | Senior Member Join Date: Nov 2005 Location: çî†ÿ øf åNgëL§, CA Posts: 5,314 | Quote: Originally Posted by M3_KILL3R lmaoo no man im just kidding of course ima give them to bobbak the kids waiting for them like a little mexican boy waiting to open his tamales on Christmas! lmao but ya let me know brahda | If your going to stereotype, then atleast do it the right way.
